Hopwood kids learn outside and inside

The Hopwood School and the High/Scope curriculum stress outdoor play as an important element in learning how to build relationships and to problem solve. Learning how to share a sled in the winter, rolling down a hill with friends or raking leaves together to make a leaf pile sound simple enough, but this unstructured play builds social skills and self-confidence.
